About Dr. Correa

Dr. Kelly Correa is a Psychological Associate working toward licensure in the state of California. She provides individual therapy for adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, depression, and life transitions. Dr. Correa draws from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She tailors these approaches to each individual, helping clients explore connections between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, reconnect with their values, and build tools for lasting change. Dr. Correa strives to create a collaborative and supportive space where clients feel seen, respected, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
 
Dr. Correa’s training spans academic medical centers, Veterans Affairs healthcare systems, and outpatient clinics. In addition to her clinical work, she completed advanced research fellowships focused on the neuropsychology of anxiety and cultural influences on mental health. She brings this scientific and systems-informed perspective into her therapeutic work, ensuring that care is not only person-centered but also attuned to the broader contexts shaping each client’s experience.
