About Dr. Berrocal

Dr. Agustina Berrocal is a bilingual Clinical Psychologist who provides comprehensive psychological assessment and therapy services to children, adolescents, adults, older adults, and families. She brings nearly a decade of clinical experience working across diverse treatment settings, including psychiatric crisis stabilization, trauma-informed care, and the assessment and treatment of a broad range of mental health concerns.

Dr. Berrocal’s therapeutic approach is grounded in clients’ strengths and emphasizes emotional regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and resilience. Drawing from an existential framework, she helps individuals navigate life’s challenges, transitions, and uncertainties while fostering greater meaning, fulfillment, and psychological well-being.

In addition to individual psychotherapy, Dr. Berrocal has extensive experience facilitating group therapy, multi-family group psychotherapy, and family therapy. She values collaborative treatment and works closely with clients to develop practical skills and insight that support lasting growth and meaningful change.

Dr. Berrocal earned her Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology, further advancing her expertise in comprehensive psychological assessment and evidence-based treatment. Her doctoral research focused on the early detection and intervention of psychosis, contributing to the growing body of knowledge on prevention and early treatment approaches.

Born and raised in Argentina, Dr. Berrocal is a native Spanish speaker and is highly experienced in providing culturally responsive services to monolingual Spanish-speaking individuals, bilingual individuals, and families. She is committed to creating an inclusive, supportive environment where clients from diverse backgrounds feel understood, respected, and empowered in their care.
