Prior to working at PNBC, Kiara worked as an Alcohol and Other Drugs counselor in an Inpatient Recovery Center. Preceding her role in recovery counseling, Kiara engaged in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children on the autism spectrum. Kiara attained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Psychology from City University of Seattle in 2022, and concurrently earned another Bachelor of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from CETYS Universidad. Presently, Kiara is dedicated to advancing her education and is actively pursuing a Doctor of Psychology degree with a focus on Clinical Forensic Psychology at The Chicago School.

Kiara is passionate about helping other and understanding the struggles people face on a psychological level and being able to contribute to their well-being. She believes in the power of empathy and understanding to make a positive impact on people’s lives. It is important to her that patient’s feel seen, safe, and understood when working with her; she enjoys getting to know the patients to understand their needs. Kiara is fluent in Spanish.
